Snow Days

I haven't been keeping up: AGAIN! I get so behind on this blog sometimes. I've been working on other things. I updated the family website some: at least the front page. I took all the old photos off our photosite and put up just the more recent photos from about September 2006 to now.

I'm also in charge of my
church's website and I've been working on it almost everyday for about a week now. Working on links and pictures and things like that.

Last week the girls and Brad were sick so that took up a bunch of time. I didn't feel all that great myself. Some kind of nasty stomach bug, but we are all better now.

It has been snowing off and on all week. Nothing like in the west, but very nice and pretty. We took the girls out in it for the first time. They liked riding on their sled...until it tipped over. Then they wanted to run around in the snow.

Lyanna felt the "wet" first and started crying like crazy, so Brad took her in and I stayed outside to play with Kenzie. THEN...after falling down about 10 times she started to feel "wet" from the snow. She started crying and it was time for us to go in as well. I have to say it was pretty funny when Kenzie figured out the snow melted. She stood at the door, with her arms sticking out by her sides as straight as she could make them, tensing up her whole body to where it does that quivering thing, and saying "WET MOMMY!! WET!!"

Our high temp today is supposed to be 10 degrees I believe. Whoo hoo! Finally feels like winter around here. The sun actually came out some yesterday but today it is cloudy again. Just feeling lazy. I need to go and clean up the kitchen and fold some laundry..ugh.
Also, I switched over to the new improved Blogger. Lost alot of things on my template and am slowly getting it back to how it was. I like the "pink" look though. I can't find a couple of the blogs I was linked to..... if I'm missing you drop me a line with your link.

I'm so envious that you have snow!!!

We usually have a bunch by now, but this year we've had squat. I've never seen a winter here where we've gone through most of January with no snow on the ground at all. I'm sad, but the kids are sadder.

What snow dance did you use? ;)

"What snow dance did you use?"

That cracked me up. :)
Tell your kids to keep their fingers crossed, I'm sure some snow will come your way!
We've found it strange that we haven't had a harsher winter since we moved here. They have all been pretty mild. We were looking forward to lots of snow in winter....gotta love global warming.

That looks like FUN snow. We had snow just once so far this year, and only an inch or two. We usually have a lot more than that by now.

Just got back from 4 days in Florida, where it rained for two of those days and the high temp on one of those days was 55. It was 59 here in Maryland when I got off the plane today.

Wow, so that's what snow looks like! Last time I remember any significant snow here was maybe '87 or '88? We got maybe an inch total last winter, and so far none this time. Enjoy it!
